Gourmet Sushi was founded in 2016 by Nuriddin Shamsutdinov with a clear vision: to make freshly prepared, fine-dining quality Japanese food accessible to everyone. It all began with a small takeaway shop in the heart of Brick Lane, London, where every roll was crafted by hand and every dish was made with care.


From day one, the goal was not just to serve food, but to create an experience — combining the elegance of Japanese cuisine with the convenience of everyday dining. Customers quickly embraced the freshness, flavour, and consistency, and what started as a humble takeaway soon became a name trusted by sushi lovers across the city.


Today, Gourmet Sushi proudly runs 7 branches across London, including 3 full restaurants. While we’ve grown, our commitment remains the same: fresh ingredients, authentic taste, and exceptional service that keep people coming back. From quick lunches to live catering at events, Gourmet Sushi continues to bring people together through food — one roll at a time.
